Finally watching coverage of the Royal Wedding!
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, just stepped out of the car, and ah, all of it is so beautiful and awe-inspiring… Just so monumental. I admit, I feel like crying… I wish Diana could have been present, but I know that she’s beaming with pride.

PlayStation hackers may have users' credit card... →
breakuptheband:
danhacker:
In addition to usernames, e-mail addresses and passwords, the hacker or hackers who cracked into Sony’s PlayStation network also may have nabbed credit card numbers.
Sony says there’s no reason to believe credit card numbers of the network’s 77 million users have been stolen, but security researchers tell the New York Times’ Bits Blog otherwise.
“Sony is saying the...

Want to buy your very own floating lanterns?
hellyeahtangled:
Here’s a site that sells them!
http://www.wishlantern.com/
(just, be safe and don’t set anything on fire with them)
Oh, gracious. I think I’d as soon commandeer a boat/faraway yacht and let loose an umpteenth amount, and not be anywhere near to recreating the scene from Tangled, but try if only to live it in some fashion.

Little girl: Here, I want you to have this.
Me: What is it? (It was so tiny.)
Little girl: I saved this sparkle for you.
I tried to retrieve it.
LIttle girl: It's stuck.
Me: It's okay, I want you to have it; I think it likes you better!
She beamed.

Singin'.
Today went well! We arrived early for the event, the children sang, we left, ta da~
It made the day go by a lot faster, and I think I’m going to go enjoy some Portal 2 soon (FINALLY).
And oh!
I beat Assassin’s Creed II! It was wonderful, and ah, those endings!
But when they broke that fourth wall, I got just ever so creeped out. (In my opinion, the only character I’m...

Hello, Tumblr folk. or, On running the ship alone.
On Monday, my co-worker fell ill, and I was left to take care of about 14 kids on my own; enough people were missing, either due to vacation or illness, that there was no extra help. We even went on a field trip. I survived that day, and so did they, but I came home, went to sleep at 5:30 PM, woke up thinking it was the next day when it was actually 11:30 or so, ate yogurt, and went back to sleep...

She wanted to get pizza. I went, thinking maybe, just maybe, she’d relented. I actually knew I’d wanted to stay home and would be better off. I’ve never wanted to jump out of a car so much in my life.

I’m not sure why I help her. She’s become insufferable. Her passive-aggressive comments, her constant put-downs, the disrespect. And from both of them.
I try to do something good, let it be a labor of love, and it turns into some abhorrent mess. Even when I finish, it’s too late, and “they’re not last minute like you.” [in reference to how we can’t go to...

Guilt-centric.
(aren’t I always?)
Dad had asked me to get money in the beginning of the week so we could send it to relatives in the Philippines via money order.
I’d forgotten. There was too much this week. Too much.
Dad just came back while I was practicing violin. “Where did you go?”
“I went to get a money order.” “Oh, crap. The money. I forgot. … Why...
