I want to believe I’ll make something out of myself.
I want to believe I’ll make something out of myself.
If anyone has received a card from me, be it holidays, birthdays, what have you, you’d know mine usually look like this. A name, a drawing, something, painstakingly done with care. I’d like to take typography classes and get it right some time. My best work was for this scrapbook we had to do for a class-how I loved it. I poured my soul into it, it’s so blatant it hurts. While scrawling this one, I couldn’t help but think if there were others who do the same, rather than quickly writing letters. Either way, it must have become a signature thing, since apparently my friends can identify my cards (madness) without even having to open them. Mission accomplished.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNIE!
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, HAHAHA.
This took quite a while, but I’m quite proud of it. I might go back and fix a few things, add a few things, but it’s finally done. Yay!
PS. Click-through to my dA, it looks better when you view it in its actual size—not that it’s that much larger, but still. :)
Ew. XD via SketchBookMobileX app. Need to show you all the random one I drew on Nancy’s tablet last night. Thanks, Lucia, for showing it to me :) (You just don’t realize it, hehe.)
Happy Birthday, Dana! I threw this together quickly so I wouldn’t be too late. ;)
I entitle this, “Emotion—does not compute.” Something like that. :D
My cat just drew this on my tablet. XD Awesome. She’s a budding artist, apparently!
(Maybe then she’ll become famous and her paintings will sell for thousands, like that elephant. Or that four-year-old. She’ll show ‘em whater.)
Having surgery in one week. (AHHHHH.)
Wish me luck/pray for me, if you do!
I don’t know if any of you can recall, but I wrote a post thinking I’d gotten blueberries stuck in my teeth and thinking it might’ve turned into a cavity (because I’m crazy and have never had one).
Today, I had to get a filling— because I broke a tooth.
(“Oh, so that’s why there was a gap back there…”).
… Yeah.
Later ensued this whole dental insurance mess with my insurance company, since I need to have a night guard (… I’ve been grinding and clenching my teeth for years on end. Yes, I have some pretty awful TMJ. I used to wear my retainers. In freshman year of college. Yes, I have a night guard. No, it won’t fit, because I stopped wearing my retainer. So I know my mom will be all, “Well, if you wore it already the first time,” etc. She doesn’t know about the filling, actually. But she will. She… didn’t ask and she seemed not to be in such a great mood so I left it at that).
Anywho. Half of my face is still numb but I thought I’d let you all know.
PS. I’m thinking I’ll pay the high price of a night guard again. Only, I want to get invisalign again some time (… my teeth have shifted terribly) and so that means that I’d have to get another night guard later… hoo boy…).
Not to mention my guilt complex.
(It was one week from when I started this, which was 10 min to midnight, so yay. XD)
As a follow-up to this post.
